Science and robotics don’t stop when the school day ends. Profaqua offers dynamic extracurricular workshops that allow students to continue their scientific discoveries in a fun, engaging, and fully French-language environment.
During each 60-minute session, participants experiment, build, program, and take on age-appropriate science challenges. Each session is designed to spark their curiosity, develop their creativity, and inspire them to explore even further.
As with all Profaqua workshops, several students have the opportunity to become the day’s Science Assistants, proudly putting on their lab coats and taking part in demonstrations in front of the group.
Whether they are exploring the mysteries of chemistry, building a robot, taking on an engineering challenge, or discovering the living world, every session is a new science adventure.
These extracurricular workshops are an excellent way to extend learning while giving students the opportunity to explore their curiosity through hands-on activities, teamwork, and fun.
After all… the bell may signal the end of the school day, but it never signals the end of curiosity!
Important Information
- Pricing is based on the number of workshops or the total number of hours booked.
- Science workshops: groups of 18 to 25 students.
- Robotics workshops: groups of 14 to 20 students.
- Profaqua provides the iPads, robots, activity mats, and Apple TV required for the robotics workshops.
What We Need On Site
- Access to electrical outlets is required.
- A sink must be available near the rooms where the science workshops take place.
- Access to an interactive whiteboard is required in the room where the robotics workshops take place.
- An open space is required for robotics demonstrations at the end of the session.
Fees for Science or Robotics Extracurricular Programs
- 6 weeks: $1,800 (starting at $72 per student)
- 8 weeks: $2,400 (starting at $96 per student)
- 10 weeks: $3,000 (starting at $120 per student)
- 12 weeks: $3,500 (starting at $140 per student)
Additional Fees
- Travel fee: minimum of $25 plus $0.90/km between our office and the workshop location (round trip).
- Additional fees for perishable materials may apply to certain workshops. Information will be provided on the selected workshop page.
- GST and PST are additional.
