Profaqua offers dynamic extracurricular workshops that allow students to continue their scientific discoveries in a fun, engaging, and fully French-language environment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">During each <strong>60-minute<\/strong> session, participants experiment, build, program, and take on age-appropriate science challenges. Each session is designed to spark their curiosity, develop their creativity, and inspire them to explore even further.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">As with all Profaqua workshops, several students have the opportunity to become the day\u2019s <strong>Science Assistants<\/strong>, proudly putting on their lab coats and taking part in demonstrations in front of the group.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Whether they are exploring the mysteries of chemistry, building a robot, taking on an engineering challenge, or discovering the living world, every session is a new science adventure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">These extracurricular workshops are an excellent way to extend learning while giving students the opportunity to explore their curiosity through hands-on activities, teamwork, and fun.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>After all\u2026 the bell may signal the end of the school day, but it never signals the end of curiosity!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Important Information<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Pricing is based on the number of workshops or the total number of hours booked.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Science workshops: groups of 18 to 25 students.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Robotics workshops: groups of 14 to 20 students.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Profaqua provides the iPads, robots, activity mats, and Apple TV required for the robotics workshops.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>What We Need On Site<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>Access to electrical outlets is required.<\/li>\n<li>A sink must be available near the rooms where the science workshops take place.<\/li>\n<li>Access to an interactive whiteboard is required in the room where the robotics workshops take place.<\/li>\n<li>An open space is required for robotics demonstrations at the end of the session.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Fees for Science or Robotics Extracurricular Programs<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>6 weeks: <strong>$1,800<\/strong> <em>(starting at <\/em><strong><em>$72<\/em><\/strong><em> per student)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>8 weeks: <strong>$2,400<\/strong> <em>(starting at <\/em><strong><em>$96<\/em><\/strong><em> per student)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>10 weeks: <strong>$3,000<\/strong> <em>(starting at <\/em><strong><em>$120<\/em><\/strong><em> per student)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>12 weeks: <strong>$3,500<\/strong> <em>(starting at <\/em><strong><em>$140<\/em><\/strong><em> per student)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Additional Fees<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Travel fee:<\/strong> minimum of <strong>$25 plus $0.90\/km<\/strong> between our office and the workshop location (round trip).<\/li>\n<li>Additional fees for perishable materials may apply to certain workshops.
