PassepART<\/h1>\n

A microgrant to bring culture, heritage and the French language to schools<\/h2>\n

The PassepART<\/strong> program, funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage and administered by the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration culturelle canadienne-fran\u00e7aise (FCCF)<\/strong>, supports cultural, artistic and heritage projects in French in Francophone schools.<\/p>\n

Up to $1,500 per school per year<\/h3>\n

PassepART provides a $1,500 microgrant per school per year<\/strong> for one eligible activity, with one funded activity per school<\/strong> each school year.<\/p>\n

The grant can help cover fees, materials, coordination and certain transportation costs.<\/p>\n

Which schools can participate?<\/h3>\n

The program is open to Francophone schools from kindergarten to Grade 12<\/strong> across Canada.<\/p>\n

Activities can take place during school hours or as part of an extracurricular program.<\/p>\n

The role of the AP\u00c9<\/h3>\n

Applications must be submitted by an eligible non-profit organization (NPO)<\/strong>, not directly by the school.<\/p>\n

The Association des parents d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves (AP\u00c9)<\/strong> may be a potential partner if it meets PassepART\u2019s eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n

We recommend confirming your AP\u00c9\u2019s eligibility with PassepART before beginning the application process.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What activities are eligible?<\/h3>\n

Activities must be offered in French<\/strong> and include an artistic, cultural or heritage component<\/strong>, while encouraging student and Francophone community participation.<\/p>\n

What if you would like to bring Profaqua to your school?<\/h3>\n

Some Profaqua activities may be incorporated into an eligible project, including:<\/p>\n

Indigenous Peoples Workshops<\/strong>
\nActivities that explore the connections between science, territory, the environment, knowledge and Indigenous cultures.<\/p>\n

Outdoor Workshops<\/strong>
\nActivities that allow students to explore their environment, their territory and their natural heritage.<\/p>\n

Science Shows<\/strong>
\nSome science shows may also be incorporated into a cultural or community project, depending on its nature.<\/p>\n

The eligibility of the activity must be confirmed according to PassepART\u2019s criteria before relying on this funding.<\/strong><\/p>\n

How does funding work with an AP\u00c9?<\/h3>\n

1. Choose your activity<\/strong>
\nThe school and AP\u00c9 identify a project that aligns with PassepART\u2019s objectives.<\/p>\n

2. Discuss the project with Profaqua<\/strong>
\nWe can help you choose the activity that best fits your project.<\/p>\n

3. The AP\u00c9 submits the application<\/strong>
\nIf eligible, the AP\u00c9 submits the application online. The school then confirms the activity with the designated contact person at its school board or district.<\/p>\n

4. Deliver the activity<\/strong>
\nOnce funding is approved, the microgrant is paid to the partner organization and the activity can take place.<\/p>\n

    Additional travel support<\/h3>\n

    A $500 travel\/remoteness bonus<\/strong> may be available in certain eligible regions. Additional funding is also available for the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
